Emergency services were called to the M20 after a car overturned this morning.

The accident happened at just before 8am in the coast-bound lane of the motorway between J8 at Lenham and J9 at Ashford.

Only one vehicle is thought to have been involved in the crash, where a car landed on its side on the bank by the side of the road.

Paramedics were at the scene, but no one is thought to have been injured.

Speed restrictions were in place, but the road was not closed.
