Two men were taken to hospital after a van overturned on a busy stretch of motorway this morning.
The vehicle came to a rest on its side in the third lane of the M20 between junctions 8 for Leeds and 9 for Ashford.
Debris was strewn across the middle lane and rush hour delays of around 15 minutes were experienced.
Emergency services are on the scene of the incident, with a car also spinning out of control further up the coast bound carriageway.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called to the M20 between junctions 8 and 9 at 7.53am following a report of a two vehicle collision. The incident involved a van and a car. Paramedics were called to the scene. Officers are currently at the scene."
The road was cleared at around 9am with traffic getting back to normal.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 7.55am to reports of a van which had overturned on the M20 between junctions 8 and 9 on the coast bound carriageway.
"A 43-year-old man, who complained of neck and spinal pain, and a 38-year-old man were treated by ambulance crews and were then taken to the William Harvey Hospital."
