A van has overturned on the M20 and is causing delays for motorists this evening.

The crash happened shortly before 6pm near junction 4 for Leybourne, near Maidstone.

Officers from Kent's road policing unit, tweeted about the incident earlier and said the coast-bound slip road will remain closed for at least an hour.

The closure will stay in place until Highways officers can arranged for a crash barrier to be repaired.

It's not thought anyone was seriously injured during the crash.
