A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

Police were called at 10.43am (October 18) to a crash involving a car and a man in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone.

The man was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken into custody.
