Maidstone: Ambulances called as woman collapses in Marks and Spencer in Week Street

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after collapsing in a town centre shop.

Paramedics were called to Marks and Spencer after the lady, in her 80s, fainted in the Week Street branch, in Maidstone.

It happened at 2.35pm and an ambulance and ambulance car attended.

The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to Maidstone Hospital for further checks.
