A person collapsed on a main road in Maidstone, causing traffic to build up.

One lane was blocked on the A229 Fairmeadow northbound near the White Rabbit roundabout.

The person collapsed and fell into the road.

They were treated for injuries included a head injury before being taken to Maidstone Hospital.

One ambulance crew attended the scene between Medway Street and Stacey Street.

Police have also been contacted for a comment.
