A woman was spotted on the roof of a busy railway station this evening.
Concerned passengers at Maidstone West called the emergency services just before 5pm and officers from both British Transport Police and Kent rushed to the scene.
Paramedics were also called, and the woman was brought down from the roof safely.
It is believed she has been taken to hospital.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police is assisting British Transport Police regarding reports of concern for the welfare of a woman on the roof at Maidstone West Station."
Southeastern Trains did not report any delays to services.
