An educational trust is set to unveil plans for a new school this evening.
Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT) first considered plans for the School of Science and Technology (SST) in Maidstone in 2014.
The trust submitted an application to the Department for Education to open the free school, which was accepted.
Located close to VIAT's current secondary schools, Valley Park and Invicta Grammar, the school will have six forms of entry.
The curriculum with focus of STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - with industry partners including Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and the School of Science and Technology in Singapore.
Proposals are being prepared for Maidstone Borough Council's planning department, having been drawn up by KSS Architects and BAM Construction, which will be submitted at the beginning of March.
A public meeting will be held tonight at Valley Park School to showcase the plans, with representatives from VIAT, BAM and KSS all in attendance.
The meeting will be held at the Huntsman Lane secondary between 4pm and 7.30pm.
