A woman was attacked by a masked robber who raided her home, before making off with jewellery.

The suspect targeted the house in Boughton Lane, Maidstone between 10am and 10.15am on Friday.

The woman was assaulted during the incident, but was not injured.

The suspect is described as white, and was wearing a black balaclava at the time.

Officers want to hear from anyone who thinks they have information.
