Suspected illegal immigrants from Iran and Iraq have been arrested in Kent after hiding in a delivery of Maidstone council wheelie bins.
The extra load came to light when the lorry, which picked up the bins in France, pulled into the Arriva bus depot.
The delivery was actually meant for the council depot next door but as soon as the lorry stopped about 20 people jumped through the roof.
After a search of the area police arrested four men.
One Iraqi man and two Iranians were released into the custody of the Immigration Service. Another Iranian man was handed to police in Liverpool.
