Police descended on a quiet residential road this afternoon after a woman in her 60s was found dead.
Seven police cars, two ambulances, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and forensic officers were called to Birling Avenue, Bearsted, at 11.52am, with officers going door to door interviewing residents.
After three and a half hours at the scene officers confirmed the death was sudden but not suspicious.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said it is not its policy to comment on call-outs to private addresses.
One neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: "I work from home but I didn't hear any sirens. When I came down to get my post there were five police cars lined up in the street and a man in a white suit like something out of Midsomer Murders. I don't know what happened but it seems very suspicious."
Officers remain at the property and a report will be passed to the coroner.
