Police have been called out to deal with a man lying down in the street.

Two police cars are by the bridge in Fairmeadow, Maidstone, having been called out at 10.49am.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said officers were called to "a man lying on the ground."

Officers remain on scene and have requested Secamb attend to assist.

The man is conscious, breathing and not thought to be injured.
