A pervert bound by a strict court order must undergo two years of treatment after admitting lurking in alleyways.
Jamie Lee Stevens was jailed last year and slapped with a five-year Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) after trashing a police cell and performing a sex act in front of a CCTV camera.
Stevens had been detained for an unrelated offence – which he was never charged for – when, in protest at his situation, he flooded his cell and stood on the bed, exposed himself and performed a sex act for 55 minutes while staring at the camera.
He later told police he was trying to draw attention to the fact he was not happy in the cell but conceded he went about it the wrong way.
When sentencing him last February magistrates also took into account an incident in 2012 when he exposed himself and performed a sex act in the direction of a woman, who was unaware of his actions, near Archbishop’s Palace, Maidstone.
The SOPO means he must wear at least one layer of clothing over his pants at all times, unless in a swimming pool where he must wear trunks, he cannot urinate in a public place or a private place if visible to passersby, he cannot loiter in alleyways and cannot enter beyond boundaries of private residences without the permission of the owner.
But the 29-year-old father-of-one breached that order on two occasions in May by entering alleys in Allington.
Appearing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday Stevens, now living in Newchurch Road, Tovil, was told due to the serious and persistent nature of his offending he must attend the Thames Valley Sex Offender Treatment Programme for 24 months.
He was also handed a 20-day prison sentence, suspended for two years, and must pay £200.
