A helicopter was scrambled to search for a teenager on the run from police.

Officers were looking for a 19-year-old man in the Aylesford area.

He fled from an address in Station Road, at around 11.45am, when a team arrived to arrest him.

He is alleged to have breached his bail conditions imposed after he was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting.

The teenager was located in the village at around 3.30pm and taken into custody.
