A police helicopter was called in to help a search for a driver missing after a crash.

Police were called to Cold Blow Lane in Thurnham at 11.15pm yesterday after reports of a collision.

Officers went to the scene where the vehicle and driver had already left.

The helicopter helped in the search, but the driver was later located safe and well at a house in Maidstone.

No other vehicles were involved, and no arrests were made.
