A search for a missing woman in Mote Park which included calling in the police helicopter, has been successful.

The 47-year-old was reported missing from Maidstone Leisure Centre at just after 1pm, after she became separated from her group.

A search of the area was conducted, including deploying the force helicopter, and she was found safe and well at 3.30pm.
