Police are investigating an assault after a man was injured.

Officers were called to Week Street in Maidstone at around 1am today.

Reports had been made that a man had been assaulted.

Paramedics attended the scene but the victim did not require hospital treatment.

No serious injuries were reported.

Enquiries into what happened are ongoing.
