Police investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles in a village have made an arrest.

Kent Police issued an appeal for information following a spate of thefts from vehicles in Wouldham between Sunday, August 13, and Wednesday, August 16.

A 36-year-old man from Harrietsham was subsequently arrested yesterday in connection with these offences.

He has been released pending further investigation.
