Two people were arrested after a road rage row reportedly ended with a motorist driving through a residential area with a man clinging to his car bonnet.
Police arrived at Nottingham Avenue, Shepway, Maidstone, at about 7.30am on Monday but one of the people involved had already left the scene in a car.
An argument is reported to have broken out after a collision between a blue Mini Cooper, with a Union Jack on its roof, and a parked car outside a parade of shops in Woolley Road, Senacre.
An altercation then took place and police said it was reported that "the Mini briefly drove, at low speed, with a man on the bonnet".
No serious injuries have been reported.
Officers stopped a vehicle on a roundabout near Nottingham Avenue just before 8am and arrested a 35-year-old man from Maidstone on suspicion of a public order offence.
He has since been released without charge.
A 45-year-old man, also from Maidstone, was arrested on suspicion assault and drink driving. He has been bailed until Monday, April 10.
