A man has been arrested after police cars parked at a railway station were damaged by being jumped on.
Dents were left in the bonnets of two British Transport Police (BTP) vehicles at Maidstone West yesterday.
CCTV was used to track the suspect's movements before an arrest was made near McDonald's.
Kent BTP tweeted that someone had "thought it would be a good idea to jump onto the bonnets of both vehicles causing damage".
It continued: "Early turn officers viewed CCTV at the station and tracked the suspect to a number of different locations where CCTV was also checked and suspect identified with help from @KentPoliceMaid.
"As a stroke of luck later the suspect was spotted near to the McDonald’s and arrested."
A later tweet said a man had been charged.
