A minor accident left a vehicle completely blocking a pavement off a busy road in Maidstone today.

The silver Toyota was spotted obstructing the footpath on College Road shortly after 1pm.

No damage is apparent to the vehicle and the driver was not thought to be nearby.

Police confirmed they were called at 1.22pm to a report that a car had been involved in a collision with a wall and was currently blocking the pavement.

No serious injuries have been reported and a recovery service has been called.
