Former colleagues and pupils are expected to attend the funeral of a popular PE teacher.

The funeral of Zoe O’Kelly, also known as Zoe Truchon, will take place at Aylesford Priory at 11am on Thursday, January 29, followed by a cremation at Vinters Park Crematorium in Bearsted Road, Maidstone, at 12.30pm.

Tributes to the former St Simon Stock School teacher poured in to the Kent Messenger after she and father-of three David Roots were discovered dead in the house they shared in Belgrave Street, Eccles, on Christmas Day.

Police believe they may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
