A town centre bar which has been shut for more than a year will reopen next month, it's been announced.
A post on the Facebook page for Maidstone's Banks Bar has revealed it has been fully renovated and will welcome revellers back through the doors from Saturday, September 16.
The new team says they have been working secretly and tirelessly for more than two years to bring the popular spot back.
There will be four rooms over the two floors of the listed Bank Street building, with two cocktail bars, two dancefloors, and a terraced balcony outside.
The over-21s venue will serve bespoke cocktails, draught and craft beers, and a range of high-quality wines.
Rooms at the bar will also be available to hire for special occasions.
Banks closed in 2015, shortly after nearby Beluga Bar, which reopened earlier this year as Bierkeller and Fever & Boutique.
It's also been announced that nearby Gallery Nightclub will be reopening after £500,000 renovation works on the following weekend, on Saturday, September 23.
