Pupils and teachers have teamed up with firefighters to spread safety awareness this Christmas.
With Christmas edging closer, Kent Fire and Rescue Service has teamed up with Loose Primary School to create a heart warming video to keep people safe over the festive period.
Assistant director for community safety at Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Ian Thompson said: “Christmas and New Year is a time for celebrations, with family and friends coming together to enjoy the festivities.
"It’s easy to become distracted with so much going on and easy for disaster to happen."
Officers from KFRS took a festive twist on their usual fire safety advice visit to the Loose Road, offering tips on how to prevent danger this Christmas.
Pupils were encouraged to write a Christmas wish list, reminding parents to carry out important safety checks.
Parents were then invited into the school, where they watched footage of their sons and daughters reading their wish lists aloud.

But KFRS had a surprise up its sleeve.
While parents looked on, their children walked in and asked them to keep the family safe this Christmas.
Mr Thompson added: "Thanks to the children at Loose Primary School, we hope the video will strike a chord with mums and dads across the county by encouraging them to make it memorable for the right reasons - by taking a few moments to follow our top tips for keeping the family safe this Christmas and New Year.”
Family and communities manager at Loose Primary School, Ingrid Dutch said: “Being part of this festive safety video was something we at Loose Primary School really didn’t need to think twice about.
"Fire safety at any time of year is important, but with the excitement of Christmas and the increased flammable materials around the home – it’s even more vital we’re all aware of the increased risks.
"Our children were all incredibly engaged with the team from KFRS, and proved that as they all went home that night making sure the safety measures were put in place.
“We take all aspects of safeguarding very seriously and this really helped teach our children some very important life skills.”
