A prolific criminal has appeared in court again after being caught begging in Maidstone.
Homeless Isa Richardson, pictured, admitted approaching people and asking for money in Jubilee Square and Week Street earlier this month.
Richardson, who was in custody for breaching bail conditions by entering the town centre, also admitted breaching a conditional discharge imposed following offences committed in April.
Maidstone Magistrates’ Court heard how the 46-year-old mother, who has 37 convictions, was charged with the offences twice in a few hours.
The court heard how the requirement to avoid the town centre was unworkable due to her solicitor and a soup kitchen being located there.
The condition was replaced by an interim Criminal Behaviour Order banning her from approaching people and asking for money, carrying any container in the town centre and instructing anyone to do either on her behalf. The case was adjourned until August 14.
