Campaigners are keeping up their fight to keep a stroke unit in east Kent.
The change will see units close in Tunbridge Wells, Medway and Margate.
Carly Jeffrey came from Ramsgate as part of Save our NHS Kent to attend Kent County Council's heath overview and scrutiny committee (HOSC) meeting.
Today's meeting does not have the stroke unit changes on its agenda.
She said: "We are in conversations with the HOSC members so we're here today to see what they talk about.
"On March 22 we'll be back and we'll be hoping the members vote to refer the entire stroke plans back to government.
"We've got a petition going, a lot of councils seem to be changing their minds, Medway looks set to refer back, Craig MacKinlay is talking about referring back.
"We feel that the tide is turning somewhat and we're here to make our presence felt again."
The campaign group is calling for the decision, which was agreed by all of the county's clinical commissioning groups, to be sent back to the secretary of state for health for a final decision.
The petition is available to view via Save our NHS Kent's Facebook page.
