Quad bike crash blocks Yalding Hill, near Maidstone

A road was blocked for hours on Sunday after a quad bike rider fell off their vehicle.

Yalding Hill was blocked in both directions due to the crash, which happened at around 11am.

Paramedics were called out to treat the rider's injuries, which were not thought to be life threatening.

Traffic was blocked between Small Profits and Lughorse Lane.

Secamb spokesman Rich Airey said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene following reports of a fall from a quad bike on Yalding Hill.

"The biker was treated at the scene for injuries including arm and leg injuries before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital."
