The family of a factory worker who stumbled into the path of a car and suffered catastrophic head injuries still have unanswered questions.
The 47-year-old suffered a fractured skull and spine and died at the scene.
An inquest into his death, held at Archbishops Palace, did little to shed any light on whether Mr Dumitru was pushed into the path of the Mercedes or if he had suffered a medical episode.
Mr Dumitru, a factory worker who was originally from Romania, had been out with friends playing pool and was on his way home when he fell into the road.
CCTV cameras in the area show him making no effort to stop his fall prompting speculation from his brothers that he could have been pushed.
However, footage is obscured by a lamppost meaning there is no evidence to suggest this was the case.
Police officer Robin Youngs, a forensic collisions investigator, said there was no doubt Mr Dumitru had been under the pizza delivery driver's car.
The driver of the car was travelling at 17mph and stopped almost immediately and flagged down a nearby ambulance.
Detectives decided there was no evidence to suggest he should be prosecuted and he helped them with their investigation.
Recording a conclusion of road traffic collision coroner Bina Patel said: "The evidence doesn't establish how he came to fall on the floor.
"Whether he was pushed or slipped, the evidence doesn't help us with that.
"Anything is possible we just can't establish what happened. CCTV doesn't help us because there is a lamppost in the way."
