Both lanes of a key approach into town were partially blocked this morning after an accident.
The crash occurred on the A229 Loose Road in Maidstone near the junction with Norrington Road just after 6.30am.
The A229 is the main route into Maidstone for traffic from the south - Staplehurst and Hastings.
A woman was injured in the collision which involved two vehicles.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The damaged vehicles have now been cleared and the road is fully re-opened.
