On page three of this week's Kent Messenger we reported on how a doorstep recycling scheme has been extended to another 38,000 homes in and around Maidstone.

Residents have been asked to use the newly supplied bins for non-recyclable waste and the old bins for recyclable waste, including cans and plastics.

We incorrectly reported that residents could also put glass in the recycling bins. Do not put glass in the recycling bins.
