A 14-year-old schoolgirl who had been missing since last month is back at home.

Jennifer Gurr was found at an address in Blackpool, Lancashire, on Friday evening having not been seen since June 29.

She had told her mother she would be staying at a friend's house after leaving her house in Maidstone, but she failed to return home.

While she was missing she had made mobile phone contact with her parents.

Mid Kent Police worked closely with police in Lancashire to locate her.

Jennifer is now back at home in Maidstone and is safe and well.
