Bosses at a new restaurant and rooftop bar, located on the site of a former Maidstone nightclub, have announced when the first food and drinks will be served.
Strawberry Moons in Gabriel's Hill closed its doors back in 2017, but is now being renovated into something quite different.
Plans for a bottom floor restaurant, a second floor bar and a rooftop terrace at the former nightspot were given the green light and the first signage for the new venue, named Madisons, appeared shortly before Christmas.
Staff have now revealed it will open its doors to customers for the first time on Wednesday, January 29, and is already taking bookings via its website and social media pages.
The venue describes itself as offering "an eclectic mix of modern British cuisine, with a twist", with a menu including steaks, seafood, pork belly, salads, fish and sashimi.
A statement on its website said: "Madisons was imagined by the Wilson family and creative designer Ade Rowswell to produce an interior style of art deco glamour and opulence, coupled with abstract wall decorations and showcasing a striking ceiling mural, hand painted by Martin Hallford, that culminate to give Madisons a truly unique wow factor.
"Madisons restaurant and bar is initially opening Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings, with a lively ambience and exceptional service."
Last year, KentOnline took a look back at some of the fond memories created at Strawberry Moons over the years.
Madisons has been contacted for further comment.
