Rival Christmas attractions have opened their doors for the
festive season.
Lapland UK, at Bewl Water, near Lamberhurst, and Santa's Magical
Kingdom, at the Hop Farm Family Park, Paddock Wood,
both opened on Saturday, November 14.
Lapland UK has seen 10 acres of Bewl Water transformed into
Father Christmas' arctic homeland. Tickets, which start at
£57.50, include a personalised invitation to every child
by post, all activities including toy making, gingerbread
decorating, storytelling, post office, reindeer, huskies and ice
skating, a hot two course meal and gifts for every visitor.
The Hop
Farm's attraction is all indoors. Tickets start at £25 and features
several Christmas and winter scenes, interactive displays, Santa’s
post office where children can watch as their letters are whisked
up a chimney, real reindeer, a puppet show and a 45-minute circus
show. The ice rink is extra.
It's the first time the Hop Farm has hosted a festive attraction
such as this. Lapland UK is now in its third year.
