A road is partially blocked in both directions after a car overturned.

A Peugeot 307 was found abandoned at 6.15am on the A26 Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, between Milton Street and Hartnup Street.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

Traffic is slow in the area.

A police spokesman said: "The driver of the car had left the scene when officers attended.

"There are not believed to have been any other vehicles involved and inquires are ongoing to locate the driver."
