Queues are easing following an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

The incident, reported shortly before 8am this morning, happened in the A274 Sutton Road in Langley near New Road.

It was affecting traffic between Maidstone and Sutton Valence as both lanes are blocked.

Kent Police was called at 7.43am. They are currently at the scene with the South East Coat Ambulance Service.
