A road was closed in both directions following an accident outside a rural pub.

The A274 in Langley, Maidstone, was shut due to a crash at the Plough Inn, at the junction with Plough Wents Road.

It was reported at around 8.30pm today (DEcember 19).

A spokesperson for bus company Arriva said its number 12 service had to be diverted in both directions via Loose Road and Heath Lane to avoid the scene.

Police have been contacted for comment.
