Drivers are facing delays this evening after a lorry got stuck in the middle of a road.

Officers are at Chart Hill Road in Chart Sutton where the road has been shut to traffic.

A witness said the vehicle got jammed after turning left due to it being oversized.

Arrangements to recover the lorry are underway.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around 1.55pm on Wednesday 20 November regarding a lorry causing an obstruction on Chart Hill Road, Chart Sutton.

"Officers are currently at the scene where the road is closed to traffic."
