A road has been closed following reports of a serious crash.

Emergency services are on the scene following the incident in Loose, near Maidstone.

Police are in attendance and have put in place a road block along a stretch of the A229 Linton Hill.

There are also unconfirmed reports that the air ambulance has been called to the scene.

The road has been closed in both ways from the Church turn off to the petrol station.

It is believed one vehicle is involved in the crash.

Police have been contacted for comment.
