A road has been closed for emergency gas repairs.

Sandling Lane, Boxley, Maidstone, is shut between Boxley Road and Downs View Road for SGN to repair a gas leak.

The road was closed in both directions this afternoon from 3.30pm. Drivers are advised to use an alternative route if possible.

SGN says temporary two-way traffic lights have been installed and that repairs could take until Wednesday, February 22.
