Mallards Way and Spot Lane near Maidstone to close for a week as Kent County Council makes repairs

A whole road will be closed for a week as necessary repairs to the surface are made.

Ken County Council will be shutting Mallards Way and Spot Lane near Maidstone on October 23.

It said: “The closure is necessary to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out.”

The closure is expected to last up to seven days and no traffic will be able to use the roads.

An alternative route has been suggested with drivers being told to take the A20 Ashford Road onto Willington Street before turning into Deringwood Drive and vice versa.
