An 89-year-old woman has been targeted by robbers.

Three men pushed past the pensioner when she answered the door of her home in Tattlebury Lane, Goudhurst.

The trio searched her home and demanded money. The victim left to get help next door and the three offenders left empty handed. The victim was left shocked, but unhurt.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and to find the offenders who are described as white in their late 20s, early 30s and wearing hooded jackets. The robbery took place on Tuesday, August 30.
