The Maidstone branch of BHS will shut for good on Wednesday, it has been confirmed.
The store is currently holding a closing down sale and signs counting down the days until the shop closes are now on display.
It is not just stock that is being sold however, with all fixtures and fittings, including mannequins, being available for purchase.
All 163 stores nationwide will close by Saturday, August 20, administrators have announced.
The closure of the store is set to put 11,000 people nationwide out of work.
The Ashford branch of the retailer closed its doors for the last time on Saturday, and the Gravesend branch is due to follow suit this weekend.
Suzie Brindle from The Mall Maidstone said: "BHS has been an important part of Maidstone town centre for a number of years, and we are very sorry to see it close and to see staff lose their jobs.
"We are in active discussions with a number of potential occupiers for the store, and are in a good position following the refurbishment to attract high quality brands that enhance the overall retail and leisure offer in Maidstone."
Councillor Fran Wilson, leader of Maidstone Borough Council, said: "When BHS closes its doors for the last time it will be a very sad day for Maidstone and for the people who are losing their jobs.
"It is a major store which will be missed.
"On the whole, the outlook for retailing in the town remains optimistic, and more than 50 per cent of retailers are independent traders, which is something I know that residents value."
