Lee Worgan was in fine form for Tonbridge Angels but the keeper couldn’t prevent his side slipping to defeat.
Promotion-chasers Salisbury netted twice without reply in the Blue Square Bet South match.
Worgan (pictured) had already made a string of saves before home side Salisbury finally took the lead, after 22 minutes, when Jamie White struck.
Salisbury peppered the Tonbridge goal in the second half but Worgan denied Chris McPhee, Rob Sinclair and Brian Dutton, to keep his side in the game.
And Tommy Warrilow’s side almost capitalised when substitute Mark Lovell came close with a shot that home keeper Will Puddy managed to save.
An injury-time second wrapped up the points for Salisbury, to keep the pressure on leaders Welling, as Dan Fitchett latched onto a long kick from the keeper before tucking the ball away past Worgan.
