The weekend has already turned out to be pretty frightening - and we haven't even got to Halloween yet!
The scares started on Friday afternoon when dozens of children turned up dressed as ghosts and ghoulies at the medieval St Mary’s Abbey in West Malling for a pumpkin hunt organised by Demelza Hospice Care For Children.
The thrills then quickly switched to the Shepway Chariots Community Garden in Norfolk Road, Maidstone, where there was a Halloween Spooktacular with fancy dress, apple-bobbing and pumpkin carving.
Of course there's no better place to expect supernatural goings-on than a Norman castle, and on Sunday, Lullingstone Castle at Eynsford also hosted a pumpkin-carving session.
