Multi million pound plans to rebuild a school will go on show next week.
The proposals to transform St Augustine Academy in Oakwood Park, Maidstone – formerly Astor of Hever School – will be exhibited at the site on Monday, from 6pm to 8pm. A planning application is due to be submitted in mid-March.
Representatives from Willmott Dixon Construction, sponsors Woodard Academies Trust, Kent County Council and school managers will be on hand to answer any questions people have about the project.
The Department of Education announced last January that the project would receive £12.5 million in funding.
The news followed an anxious wait for bosses after the government announced cutbacks in its Building Schools for the Future programme.
It opened as an academy in September with extra investment in equipment and the introduction of a new school uniform.
