Eleven of our schools have appeared in a list of the best performing selective state school in England.
The list in The Daily Telegraph includes details of 140 schools across the country.
At 18th in the list, Judd School in Tonbridge is said to be the best performing school in the area with 89 per cent of its students attain five A or A* grades in GCSE this year.
This is followed at number 30 by Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School that saw 82 per cent getting five of the two coveted top grades.
With 81 per cent getting five A or A*s, Tonbridge Grammar is at number 31.
Maidstone Grammar School for Girls, Skinners Grammar School in Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Maidstone Grammar School, Highstead Grammar in Sittingbourne, Cranbrook School, Invicta Grammar in Maidstone, Oakwood Park Grammar in Maidstone and Borden Grammar in Sittingbourne also appear on the list.
Students across the county collected their GCSE results yesterday.
