A shed has been destroyed after it became engulfed in flames.

Fire crews were called to Underwood Close, Maidstone, at 3.15am after the fire spread from a pile of litter to a fence before reaching the shed.

Firefighters sourced water from a nearby hydrant and put the fire out within 45 minutes.

Nobody was injured in the fire and while the cause of the blaze is unknown, it is believed to have been caused as the result of the accident.
