Students at New Line Learning Academy in Boughton Lane, Loose put on drama showcase at the Exchange Studio

Pupils aim to send a powerful message with a thought-provoking performance surrounding the effects of mental health, drink driving and cancer.

Sixth Form performing arts students at New Line Learning Academy chose to focus on the emotive subjects for their end of year showcase, which they will perform to a live audience on Monday, May 23, in hope of raising awareness.

The show is split into three acts, including one about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, another about the difficult consequences of mental health and a segment based on the film The Fault in Our Stars, which focuses on the story of two teenage cancer patients.
