County council leader Sir Sandy Bruce-Lockhart is meeting a top politician today to talk about funding needed to drive forward development in Kent.

Sir Sandy will be discussing the cost of the infrastructure improvements, such as roads and schools, which he says must accompany large-scale projects.

He is meeting Chief Secretary to the Treasury Paul Boateng after spending time with Planning Minister Keith Hill in Swale yesterday.
