A police hunt was put into operation last night after a teenage girl was reported missing from her Snodland home.

A six-hour search ensued as a police helicopter and officers on the ground scoured the surrounding area.

The girl was located at about 11.50pm in Hop Pocket Lane, Paddock Wood.

She was returned to her home address safe and well.
